 Intergrated controls package for ahu's
A unique feature of Jet's high efficiency air handling units is an integrated range of control equipment. Standard specification control equipment is based on, but not limited to, the Trend IQ200 series range of digital controllers which offer the following advanced energy saving and convenience features:
- Sequential control of output signals to heating, fan speed, fresh air, cooling and energy recovery
- Discharge air temperature control with room temperature reset (cascade control)
- Comprehensive, easy to use time control
- Optimum start
- Winter compensation of discharge air temperature
- Summer compensation of room temperature
- Manual plant override by automatic/manual switch
Once programmed and connected to the power supply, the AHU is ready to run, independent of any external control devices, although in most cases some form of supervisory control is recommended.
An individual unit can be supplied with single remote control via a Hand-Off-Auto switch, set point adjuster, reset switch and indicators for fan status and alarms. Alternatively, a range of supervisory panels capable of controlling a network of air handling units is available. In addition to providing single panel features they have the added ability to interrogate outstations, giving access to time programmes and sensor values in real time.
Elimination of site wiring
To ensure maximum time and cost savings for customers all Jet AHUs are factory pre-wired with full controls. A sealed cable entries and connections approach preserves the integrity of the air handling unit, which can be fully tested prior to delivery, while also minimising on-site commissioning requirements. To meet individual requirements, a wide range of control accessories including damper actuators, pressure switches, valves, transmitters and signal conditioners, can be fitted. |
